The International Baccalaureate (IB) has announced a series of updates to its Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course, including the introduction of new optional themes ‘knowledge and technology’ and ‘knowledge and politics’, to stimulate conversations around the most impactful and relevant topics affecting today’s world. The new curriculum will be introduced in 2020, with the first assessment in 2022.

South African entrepreneurs and educators, Wandile Mthiyane, Conrad Hughes and Melanie Smuts, headlined the International Baccalaureate’s (IB) third annual African Education Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 27–28 February, under the theme of Leading and Learning in the 21st Century with a special focus on ‘’Inspire, Innovate, Integrate’’.

The International Baccalaureate (IB), a leader in international education, is set to host its annual European Education Festival in Warsaw, Poland, next month, from 19 to 20 March 2020.
